hello and welcome all to the new revision of r1!

we’ve streamlined the site and added some new changes which include:

  • search and win - search the internet and win points
  • daily poll - participate and earn points daily
  • new user quest - earn bonus points by completing new user tasks
  • points inflation - 1 point now means $0.01, so $1 = 100 points.
  • extended login - a convenience feature, but don't forget to logout when necessary

we’ve also placed restrictions on transfer points. you must now be trust level 2 or higher to send or receive points. this will hopefully help reduce fraud and curb the spam of new users begging for points.

looking forward, we have plans to add more ways to earn points. as well, summer is quickly approaching which means our referral contests, earnings contest and free giveaways aren’t far away!

Congratulations on the new format! All that behind the scenes work really paid off. Hopefully staff can be a bit more active now :stuck_out_tongue:

I like the updates, not sure if the web search is necessary.

Anyway, I really hope that the minimum claim prize ($5 or 500 points) does not rise seeing that there are more ways to get points.

This inflation can become overwhelming, especially at www.lockerz.com (used to be a good prize redeem site). I started there in '09 and the cost was a few thousand at the very most (like for computers, etc…) However after over inflation prizes soon crept into the 100 of thousands then millions…
Lockerz’s redemption is non-existent now and that’s why I abandon them…

I sincerly hope that R1 does not follow suit to upset its users

Awesome!
I would love some sort of chat thing, possibly you can make one which is similar to the LIVECHAT, that way if you don’t want to use it, you can’t really see it, but if you do it’s 1 click away. So everyone can talk to each other.

The site looks better but I find the points system a little confusing I liked it better before but will give this one a shot

New site looks pretty nice. But I too am kinda upset about the inflation thing. Is there any particular reason why you guys did that? It’s kinda annoying and confusing, but I just mentally divide my points by 100 (move the decimal two places to the left) and then it all makes sense again. :stuck_out_tongue:

The new website is great! 8/10 The only thing I don’t like is that I can’t see how much my referrals have made me for that day… unless i’m looking in the wrong place.

Um, not sure if its just me,but none of the navigational buttons on the top are functional. Is it just a firefox thing or what?

Navigation’s working for me in Firefox, but not Chrome. (running latest versions of both in OSX Lion)

Also, the mobile version isn’t working anymore. I get redirected to m-ape-test.local or something like that when I try to access R1 from my iPhone.

Put your mobile problem in ‘Bugs Report’, it will be easier for staff to find it!

Yep, same happens to me. I just refresh it once or twice and it’s fixed. Also when I click on profile it sometimes goes back to the home page.

I like that it has more ways to earn points but the other way was more convenient.
