Trades v2

we’re making improvements to trade which we hope all you traders will like. things will be made clearer, like creating and rating a trade. AND we’ll be experimenting with escrow ie, seller doesn’t receive funds until buyer confirms trade, and arbitrating disputes, all of which will hopefully create a more secure and productive marketplace.

for these new changes, any “in process” trades in the system will be DELETED on SATURDAY apr 26 at 12pm (noon), so please conclude any outstanding trades by that time - thank you!

Great plan

Thanks bean! This will probably make things a lot smoother and almost risk free. As a trader, this looks extremely promising!

i remember the first and only time i got scammed on R1:mad: never again will that happen again lets hope this new trade protects the community:D.

Thank you. My attempt at escrow failed spectacularly but hopefully now that the system offers it, people will actually try using escrow.

At least you tried. :stuck_out_tongue: And we applaud you for that.

Now we can witness the “scamming buyers” end of the spectrum, because that is exactly what this system appears to set up.

Scamming sellers*

After buyer uses code: “Omg the amazon gc code he gave me didn’t work! Don’t send the funds!”

Or… “receives working amazon GC, lie and say it was used”

Agreed

I agree. I doubt there is a way to avoid scammers, no matter what system/program/technique you use.
