So I figured the weather’s getting better, and the days are getting longer, so it must be time to sink money in my RC toys again:D

Some of you guys might remember that I bought a radio-controlled truck using R1 points last year:

Using my R1 points, this past week I was able to convert my Slash 4x4 into Monster Slash 4x4:

Thanks! Yep TD, I added larger wheels, a lift kit to raise the body up, and a lower pinion gear on the motor so the heavier tires wouldn’t strain it.

Nice upgrade. Congrats! Are you going to give it a custom paint job or leave it as it is? That would be awesome.

Thanks! A custom paint job would definitely be pretty sweet, but it would have to wait until I get a new body for it. It’s impossible to tell from the pics, but the body is in pretty rough shape, it’s cracked/split in multiple spots and I have some sections that are heavily duct-taped haha.
