we’re excited announcement a new real-time game for our members: Battleship!
now you can play classic battleship against other members for fun, and for points! we’ve also made some updates to solitaire: nifty leaderboard, etc.
we’d like to open battleship up now for free play only, so that we can beta test the game before we introduce play for points.

i cant quite find the solitaire leaderboard bean ): im really glad that you guys took my leaderboard suggestion :D. there are some serious bugs in battleship though. i wasnt able to click the opponents last ship piece leaving me to automaticly lose. also i’m not too sure how well battleship will take off with paid games…

solitaire leaderboard appeared after playing 1 game. though i have a few questions. 1# why is it that my profile displays different win/lose amounts than the leaderboard? leaderboard profile 2# what exactly does that score thing mean? my highest score ever has been a bit above 2000 and theres no way my total wuld only be 7000.

hey jomb,
your profile stat is the combined win-loss ratio of all your vs games, ie. 5pt, 25pt, and challenge. the leaderboard only displays a certain game type, ie. all 2 player 5 pt matches.
score = 3 pts for a win, 1 pt for a loss
this applies to both solitaire and battleship leaderboards.
ps whenever we roll out changes, always refresh (clear cache) your pages to see the new updates
pps please report battleship bugs to the bug thread. don’t forget to report what browser you’re using.
