I mean some private schools have a reputation for helping students get acepted into the best schools and i go to a public school where an F is a 50-59. But as simple as it may seem, i have some really challenging classes and i maintain a 4.0 all year round

Yes private/catholic schools do alot to help kids get into the schools they would like. But, they also have a reputation to be harder both academically and the grading system.
Another example:
I am a freshman in private school. Not honors or anything. My regular Biology class is ahead of a public schools Honors bio class. There non-honor kids take earth science not even Bio. And i have seen it from both aspects public and private.

Why are you comparing yourself to Eric? This has nothing to do with R1 or any GPTs or anything..

I know this. But a perfect SAT score does wonders for a person and almost GUARANTEES entry to any school of your choice
