Equilibrium is a pretty great movie, and yeah, Gun Kata looks pretty sick, there's another movie with some good parts in it that I can't quite remember.

I remember my friend brought this movie a party and we had no idea what we were getting into and I remember the first scene in the dark room, my friend was just like "wait for it...".

Better with music, lol.

gun kata sorta, more accurately, gun-fu was really an invention of asian movies. specifically those based in hong kong as a combination of graceful marital arts and gunmanship.

since then its popularity has pretty much kept going up. and we're expecting to see more and more gun techniques and skills in movies. because that's the norm now.

equilibrium, is what i would call the epitome of "gun-fu" in a western movie.
