logging in from two different computers with two different IP's is a violation of the TERMS OF SERVICE and could get your account suspended.

you could send support and ask them if they're willing to set up a special case for your account.. i have my doubts, but it could be worth a try.

that one for sure is a big no-no. from the TERMS:

"Only 1 account permitted per person, and only 1 account permitted per household."

so ya, referring yourself will get you banned.

Yes, because your IP will change over there.

actually, here's an inside tip, and its straight from the chief so you can quote me on this... the TERMS say "Login and complete offers only from your own blah blah blah..."

The most important part is, we don't want you to click on or complete offers from any other computer other than your own. Its actually ok to log in from another computer if you're just checking your points, sending support a ticket, claiming a prize, etc.

IF YOU LOG IN FROM ANOTHER COMPUTER DO NOT CLICK ON ANY OFFERS!
I REPEAT - DO *NOT* CLICK ON ANY OFFERS - YOU MAY GET SUSPENDED!!!

The terms are a general blanket statement because its best just to tell everyone not to do it, but what I've just told you is our actual policy. Oh ya, and this rule is only for Rewards1 - don't go trying this on other sites it may get you banned.. lol.

So what this means is, you can actually go to a friends house to show him the site if you want. You can show the prize pages and even the offer pages but *DO NOT CLICK ON ANY OFFERS*!!!

Also, another tip.. don't have your friend sign up for an account at your house. Why? Because then he will get stamped with your IP Address. We have a hard time telling the difference between someone who has a friend come over and sign up at their house, versus a cheater who creates multiple accounts. You guys can now see why that's a problem.

Well thats me with a high chance of suspension then :(. I sometimes do offers at college as they dont usually work at home.

Now that ive told that i sometimes use a college computer to complete offers, surely i could be let off or not get suspended.

Someone told me I could go on rewards1 with 2 different IP's if I didnt do offers. So when I went on vacation I did. I didnt get suspended and thats was like 3 months ago. Thanks Bean! :wink2

i've been trying to figure out a way to organise the site so that all these tidbits of info is available to everyone easily... sort of like a FAQ.

however, seeing as a lot of people don't read, i wonder how effective it will be. for example on the signup form it says to read the TOS - but i have a feeling many people don't from all the people complaining about bannings from IP sharing... :disgust

i think what we need next is a really clear and detailed FAQ... hmmm.

I second that notion.
