On the cell phone offers do you get charged even though you texted the company back with something like "stop" or "cancel." Do you still get charged (minus the standard text messaging costs) anything like a fee billed to your phone bill? When I did one as soon as I got the PIN txt I txted back and said "stop" I should not be charged right?

Correct me if I am wrong, but wouldn't you have to call the company? I'm not sure a simple "stop" is going to stop them unless they told you to text that to cancel the bill. Think about it. They might get thousands of texts daily. It's hard to check all of them.

I suggest not to do the cell-phone offers because those companies can be very shady.

well, your still going to be charged i hate to tell you,
dont do those offers they arent worth it.
because when you sign up their going to charge you for the whole month even though you only had it for 10 minutes.
Becuase their fee is for example 19.99 a month. When you sign up it automatically goes on your phone bill.

Well, if you read the * details below it tells you to Text "Stop" to cancel. Its run on a automated system.

Didn't know that. I guess it should be stopped then, but you definitely were charged. No doubt about that.

they charge you to sign up, normally $2 to $5 through you calling/ texting them to sign up. then they charge for a monthly membership fee or for each message they send you, either way that's about $20 a month. then if you want to stop you'll have to call/text them and that will also cost you $2 to $5 for the call/text.
sometimes they have a minimum amount you'll have to pay up before they let you unregister. like you have to recieved atleast 5 offers (which will cost you about $2-5 each just to recieve) after signing up before they let you quit.

all up you might find yourself paying alot of real money of credits for some extremely overpriced junks. so not worth it

They have the right to charge you as much as they want. (I think) for as long as they want too.
