I was thinking of using PSPKVM (Java Emulator for PSP) on my PSP 1001.After that I would install Skype mobile (Java) on it.The problem is I cant find the java app anywhere(I did download it on my mobile through Ovi Store)..Please find one and upload it on a psp friendly site cuz i wud be downloading it on psp.(Will use Xplora to move files)....Plus would any ordinary mic work with psp 1001??:idea:

Lol do you realize that you can run Skype natively on your PSP if you just upgrade?

No the native one is for PSP 2000 and 3000 only bcz they have 64 MB of RAM while the PSP 1000 or 1001 has 32 MB.SO......It wont handle the native app for PSP

Dude. Just update your psp and it will let you access skype.
Besides we don't hack consoles or get apps here in this forum.

You can try to look around for a way to make a custom mic, but many of those don't last very long.

Unfortunately, Sony doesn't make mics for the PSP 1000 series anymore, and they are VERY hard to find.
