Hello, I went to see the movie Hancock the other day with some friends and I thought I'd tell you my opinion and ask for yours!
Now, I've sceen alot of movies the past year..Most of them were pretty crappy. Anyway HANCOCK!
In this movie Will Smith, Hancock is playing a superhero with a twist..This is a superhero everybody hates!
Now, this movie is full of really nice effects and Will did a great job acting Hancock, I don't think anyone could do a better job. I love the movie, good story line nice actors, Somthing new and I think it was the best movie I've sceen all year I really recommend you go see this. Now I'm sorry for not saying much about the movie but I will not be the one who spoils it on the people that want to see it! For you people that did see the movie, Leave a short post on this thread saying, You did or did not like and what did you like or not like. NO SPOILERS!

it wasnt rated pg he said the F word and the Synonym for Female Dog like 3 times maybe yours was censored
Btw I don't rate Bat Man as a Superhero he kinda sucks . If he can't "dispose"
of joker after all this time...Joker has no powers.

I loved Hancock and The Incredible Hulk. I went to the drive in and saw them both last night... I really really suggest seeing the Incredible Hulk. It was the best one ever and the ending was the s**t. I can't wait to see what they do with the next one...
And how can they count Batman as a superhero? He doesn't even have any powers. So I agree with you B0yfresh cause in my opinion he sucks.

It's a good movie, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Also Sherman, no offense, but I don't think you've actually seen the movie.....I think you just read the reviews. The movie is rated pg-13 (it's obvious in the previews and in the movie). Anyways, Will smith is not a scientologist, he just supports some of their ideals (which technically we all support since those ideals are basically modernized rewritings of what the bible says, good morals etc.) Regardless he still is a great actor and this movie is no exception.

I want to see Hancock, it looks very good.
Batman.... I've never even considered watching a Batman movie (if there's even2?), because I hate the cartoons, and I figured the movie would be gay too.
A movie I REALLY want to see, and will probably be my favorite movie this year, is Eagle Eye. Watch the trailer on YouTube, the movie looks freaking awesome.

Will Smith is NOT a Scientologist and he does NOT NECESSARILY support it.
In his own words, Will Smith is "a student of all religions." He finds certain principles in different faiths and uses those to contribute to his life, though he is prominently Christian.
He is a friend of Tom Cruise and thus supports his friend's faith. What kind of friend wouldn't? Will is a **** good guy, one of the best on this world today if you ask me. He's the most genuine person you'll ever see in your life, that I can tell you. Taking away from his acting ability (which, in my opinion, is incredible) simply because he doesn't senselessly bash a certain faith that he has no qualms with is stupid. Will has also said that Scientology is 98% the same as Christianity.
The only reason most people have a problem with Scientology is due to South Park, anyway. The bottom line is if people find comfort in it then what the hell is the problem if they want to spend money on it. There is no "right" religion that exists in this world. It's all about what makes the individual happy.
Now that that's out of my system.
I saw Hancock as well. It seems to me like critics like to bash Will's recent films such as this and I Am Legend for some reason. I have found both of these to be incredible, possibly some of the best movies I've ever seen.
It was massively refreshing to see this take on the superhero genre and it was a perfect mixture of drama, humor and action -- which is something most super hero movies with struggle with HORRENDOUSLY. Daredevil is a good example, so is Elektra. I'd say Batman Begins as well, but it wasn't really a superhero movie ... more a drama with a superhero theme.
Anyway, yeah, liked the movie a lot. I can only hope The Dark Knight lives up to my expectations or else I'll have trouble finding a better movie this year.

No, that's not what a student of all religions means. He takes principles from all types of religions and incorporates them into his life. He's not going around encouraging people to go to Scientology. That would be supporting it. He's not donating money or dedicating time to it like a normal Scientologist would do.
It's not black and white like some people seem to think.

sigh.
So he went to church. How else is he supposed to be a student of all faiths if he doesn't at least get somewhat involved. It seems to me like you're nit picking for the sake of a pointless argument. It's not the only religion he's taken part in and it's not his primary religion. He doesn't support it anymore than he supports any other religion.
What's the deal.
EDIT: And it's like I said before, he only supports some of the beliefs of Scientology. He believes that some of them are fantastic ideas and that they should be supported.

Watching movies on your computer is super lame Anyone can type in free movies on google and fine hundreds of sites hosting bootleg movies.......it's better and more exciting to go to the midnight premiere of movies with your friends and watch the movie on the big ass Imax screen. That's how I plan on watching Batman =)
