Please no warez, that is illegal and R1 does not support such.

You do realize that by posting that serial you engaged in "mass" copyright infringement, and since it is meant to be used for commercial purposes(earning credits)... damn you'd be ****ed if I was a lawyer.

1) Remove it from here.
2) Join a Warez Community.
3) Post it there as a downloadable .txt file.
4) Post link to that here.
5) Profit.

Oh, and then tell the warez community to join my toplist (see signature) =D

Not al of them mate, look at Warez-BB for an example. Truth be told 90% of the public access warez sites are utter crap, but if you work your way up and you get access to a few topsites of epicness, there's no fail to be found ;-)

You're the one posting warez, not me. I'm half temped to report you to the company for distributing their content illegally, with a court order they can get your IP from R1 and then press charges.

I'm all for the anti-copyright movement, however I don't like nubs like you that give the rest of us a bad name. If you're going to get into that kinda stuff, make sure you know the laws first and know what you *can* and *cannot* do legally, and what happens if you decide to ignore the law and do it anyway.

I own a Warez themed Toplist, hosted in the Netherlands. This does not make me guilty of anything, as I am not responsible for the content any of the sites provide to their own users. I simply act as a directory, one that ranks by number of pageviews, no preference is given to sites with "more" content or the like.

What I do is completely legal, what you did here is completely illegal. You committed mass infringement on a public forum that does not allow warez linking, and you can be labeled a "provider" of the content in this case. The last court case against "providers" of content? In a sense it was the pirate bay case, the admins got a year in jail.

I'm aware you'll probably just shake this off and go on with what you do everyday, just be sure you start learning the rules if you want to play the game.

Probably not smarter in general, however in this area there is a good chance. I run a variety of websites that require special interests in these fields, i've even thought of working with copyright as a future career (anti-copyright though). This stuff interests me, and 9 times out of 10 I know what i'm talking about.

I do need to correct a few things though. This morning I said it had to do with warez linking, that's not the case. I actually meant hosting the serial code here, with makes R1 liable. In this case you'd be at fault for posting ti and creating mass infringement, but R1 would also be sued for making the information available and not doing proper moderation of their user generated content when they have the ability (and in this case, responsibility) to do so.
