XBOX winners account frozen pending investigation

its just come to our attention that the winner selected in last months XBox 360 Giveaway, ROZZ, has allegedly broken TOS rules. i say allegedly because regardless of what he says no one can ever be certain.

this then raises the question, what if this happens again? we need to think this through carefully before we make any new policies and/or decisions.

The prize money has been frozen pending the policies that we come up with.

No he broke the TOS.He said in his videos that if you sign up at his link and do 5-10 offers you get 10 free points added on.Thats illegal on rewards1 lol

He cheated to get them. If you are going to play by the rules you set down, his account should be banned. Gone, he shouldn't get any of his points. If that wasn't the action you would have taken if somebody broke this rule, I'm sure you would have at the very least removed the referral from being credited to them. At the very least, if you don't take away his account, or ref points, the contest points would be the bare minimum you could do to make yourselves stand as an honest company.

Why am I making a big deal of this? Dustin took down his videos I believe. Had he not, he would have had the 350 points plus all the points he makes every month. He followed the rules. I followed the rules, and even blademog who got banned from the forums this month is following the rules. Who knows how many refs we could have gotten with deceptive advertising.

That isn't the point. The point is he won by breaking the Terms of Service. If it is ok for him to break the terms of service than it is ok for everyone to break the TOS(which isn't ok).

Well as far as I see it there should be a redraw. After all what is the point of having rules if no one has to follow them. Besides even if he DOES keep the money he's just going to get banned for breaking TOS anyways; it's kind of dumb to let the points go to waste.

and IDK if about "allegedly" I mean the video was put up several weeks after the TOS change, and several weeks BEFORE the winner of the contest had been announced. So it's not really like anyone could have framed him.

You know that was almost funny. Except here is the thing. The top 6 referrers alone bring in $1,000+ to rewards1 every day. (That is provided the make 50% of what they pay out) If $500 of that is sent to us, they profit $500 a day from just us 6 members referring people.

So in short, yes, you guys would be better off. The contests wouldn't be for so many points because their paychecks were severely cut, you wouldn't have our guidance, and uh yeah. I believe the top referrers do hold a little power in the eyes of the administration. I believe that isn't even a question.

We also work hard, but they deserve it more.

Yes, they should re-draw, but noone should win more than anyone else.
