You're only gonna find a broken one on Ebay for that price. But you could get lucky. Most of the companies selling broken items have so many they don't test them all. Or they really know nothing about the gaming system when testing, and the item actually works just fine. I got a free 360 console and a $15 20GB hard drive like this. It's obviously very risky though. Wouldn't do it unless you know at least a little bit about fixing electronics, or if it's so cheap the loss wouldn't matter (like under $10, maybe). It's also possible to resale broken items if you can't do anything with it. Broken 360 stuff is actually a really popular sale for some reason.

Another tip for getting stuff cheaper on Ebay is finding the item from a new seller or one with a short description. Most of the time people won't bid much because of this even though it's still a legitimate auction. You can get stuff for about half the price it usually sells for this way.

If you have a laptop you can share it's wireless connection by hooking it up to your 360 with the ethernet cord. I did this for a while since I live in a college dorm, the ports are in odd spots, and I'm cheap. Heh. It actually works pretty nice unless you're doing live matches on Halo, cause you WILL get hit with a little LAGsauce.

To avoid the guess-work you're looking at about $60-$70. Either (Buy-It-Now)Ebay or used at Game Stop. Umm...wow, this post is a lot longer than I was going for...will shut up now...

If you want a one with good preformance and all that, save the money for the 100$ Microsoft one, I did that and I have never regret it. :thumbs

Just don't go to GameStop for one. The one I got from them is complete garbage. I had to get Xbox to send me another one.
