What can you guys run a mile in... and be reasonable, don't lie. Also add your age and weight/height if desired.

Right now I'm running a 7:57 mile...
Not too bad for a girl that hates running but I can definitely do better.
I'm 18. Not putting my weight :P

I hate running with a passion.. If I focused on something other than the actual running, I could get a better time.
I just don't have an mp3 player to listen to or a running partner or anything :/
Any suggestions?

Last time I ran a mile while timed it was when I was in high school. We had to run 4 laps in the outside track and it's about 2 laps for a mile. I did all 4 laps in about.. 11-12 minutes (we had 14 minutes to do so). So I'd say 5:00-ish since I wasn't able to run the last 2 laps non stop/full speed. I was in better shape then though so idk about now. I smoke too and didn't back then so my stamina isn't at it's best.
I'm 2 weeks from being 19 btw and I'm 5'6"

I know. But people don't normally post ages in decimals points. They say. "I'm almost 15" or "I'm 14 and a half" not "I'm 14.7"... Imagine walking up to someone and saying that.lol

Then it'd be 14.9

3/4 = fraction, not decimal.

14 years, 9 months.

I really don't like running but I am top 3 fastest in my grade so when we do things like the mile everyone always expects me to do well. They were really pissed when I didn't do track this year.
Anyways, I the I focus is really weird but I breath in beats. So like I will just think of rythems like (I am going to use a 1st grade technique here) ta-ta-tee-tee-ta, or something like that. lol, pathetic I know.
ta = whole note.
tee = half note.

I ran a 5:55 (no joke, same time breakers) frosh year. So that's what, 14 years old (turned 15 the next month). Now, I could probably get a 5:30 depending upon how I feel after running the first part. Some days, I'm just not feeling it. Interesting diet...

Not to brag but I'm in extremely good shape and I'm pretty ripped. My fastest mile time ever was this past year when I ran a 4:55. Everyone in my gym class was like damn...... but anyway 2 of my friends can run a mile in 4:30 both of them when to sectionals and state in my school. They do track but I play soccer. This year I'm hoping to improve to get 4:45.
