It plays the game audio threw the headset and hass bass booster and has a mic it is wireless. its great for late night gaming no one can the TV audio because all the audio is coming threw the headset.. you hear more things you never heard before such as FLYS near a garbage can and water dripping out of sinks.. its like surround sound.. gives you the edge in games.. look at all hardcore gamers they all use them .. Look at like FINAL BOSS and all those people they all use them because the give you an edge..

Buy it used from JONSMUSIC thats were i got mine there OPEN BOX which means some LITTLE kid or some retart tried to break the packaging and tried to steal the headset.. or someone returned it... it comes with everything and SUPER FAST SHIPPING i got it in like 2 days (USPS DOESNT SHIP ON SUNDAYS) Rewards1 bought it for me on like thursday last week and got it on monday thats 2 days considering he probably shipped it on friday when he woke up.. granted it did come from NY and i live in PA so its not far but really fast and hes a good seller.. he put another one up for auction buy it while its there or i will (Seriously my dad wants one cause hes a gamer also and said he would liek one)

Yes it is wireless most of these headsets run off of a USB this one runs off of an Infa Red signal.. the only reason the cord is there is to chat on XBOX LIVE i could take out the cord and there would be no wires i just couldnt chat on XBOX live.. its not 3 wires its only 1 by the way.

Unstopable it is the turtle beach ear force X3 they are wireless no USB is needed for audio it runs off of INFA-RED Audio. the only reason the plug is there is for the Voice chat.. i could take the cord off but i wont be able to chat.. but i can still here audio.. i also watch movies with the headset it works great!

i had a x1. it was great until it boke on the 91 day. Warranty is only 90 days. They nevr responed to my emails. its good but i got a better one. astro a40 audio system. look it up/

They do work for the PC. I got em for Christmas. Christ and my birthday are the days I get things, every other day I'm on my own. They are 5.1 Dolby. They also support digtal audio cables which are the toslink ones.

Make sure your comp has a toslink port if it doesn't u can buy an audio card (PCI) which as one.

Maybe I should give you guys an update on the astros.....They are terrible save your money and take your girlfirend out to dinner.mThe mic stopped working, I emailed them many time hoping to get the mic fixed but i never got a reply. Don't get them the TOslink cable the sell on thier website doesnt fit the mixer and it ended up breaking my port on the miixer and they won't replace that either. Bottom Word: Don't buy them!

Just cause they market themselves as a MLG product doesn't mean everyone uses. Sennheisers 555 are still verry popular and better than these. I wasnt trying to says Turtle beach they are worse. IMO after while you are understanding spending on headphones for gaming is useless and a waste fo money.
