Best Way to Get Referrals

I have been looking for a month or so what the best way to get referrals is. I have wondered the different ways people do it and how it works for them. How do you get referrals and does it work? Also check out my youtube video and website? Leave some feedback!

Make sure you add your website to loads of search engines.
If your website is a blog then people will get sent off search engines for free since google bot and other serach engines just search over to find the websites.
