For about a month and a half, my PSP has constantly frozen and shut down randomly. Also, about 80% of my bookmarks have either deleted themselves or changed their name to a bunch of a's with accents over them. If anyone has had and successfully overcome this problem, please tell me how...Yes!

if your bookmarks keep dissappering and stuff, reformat your memory card, there might be a bug in it

you said in the other thread that you made several batterys and MMS, maybe thats why.
you have tried to downgrade so many times that the PSP has bugs in the software.

I mean he prolly puts in the pandora battery and MMS, but screwed up making it, and when it failed, he just gave up, then he noticed these strange after effects from the faulty battery and MMS

this could be the result of trying to hack it, and Sony put a bug in it. perhaps? I know that 5.50 is so far unhackable. Just restore to default. it should clear it up. If it doesn't, then clear your memory stick totally.

just do a system update, then you'll have a new version on there anyway so it won't keep doing that, unless u have a psp virus, go to setting and in there u can wipe your psp and start again at factory settings.

hope this helps, if u have anymore Q's PM me

Well I just updated my PSP to 5.51 which came out today or yesterday and I will give it some time to see if it works fine again. I also reset settings so it should work.
