Heres da story:

I was playing fifa on my psp and i pressed the analog stick to the top left corner and then !!!SNAP!! the analog stick breaks off!!!!! I called Sony, but my warranty expired and she told me i had to pay 79 bucs just for a damn analog stick!!!!!!

I would have payed to get it fixed since I reaallly like my PSP, but there is one simple problem.....

i'm on custom firmware:crap

So to all the wise people out there wat shuld I do???????

Oh, and I've already tried to find a local repair shop.....

that sucks i had a psp but it broke on its own some how, idk why though just 1 day when you turn it on, the screen starts to get a little bright then goes off.

but in your situation, id buy one of ebay or get a custom one, i dont know exactly how much it costs:crap i saw a faceplate transplate video on YouTube and he mentioned he was using a custom analog stick so yeah i guess you can remove it because he did hope this helps:rolleyes2:

Do you have any control with the analog stick?
If you can get any movement I might be able to help

If he has two batteries, then he could just make a Pandora's Battery.

Well, if you don't want to do big's thing, you can try making a pandora's battery: this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myUpzsAZt6M) should work

1) My idea won't help.
2) It would've restored your PSP from custom firmware

yeah, you could. Mistake on my part. If sony can't repair it, then there is no point in messing up your CF

SORRY, MY MISTAKE----i asked them if I could fix it on my own and they said NO, but if I brought it in to SONY they could fix it

Oh, then yeah, updating to the Sony Firmware should restore it. I would also take out my memory stick before I sent it in. IF you want CF after you get it back and fixed, then you would use the Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory Stick to get it back.
