View Full Version : Regarding shady referral tactics

In light of recent events, management has been investigating the claims made against the current top referrer in our referral contest. Taking into consideration the difficulty and implications of enforcing rules regarding shady referral tactics, we are considering a revision of our TOS. However no changes will take place until after the end of our current contests to ensure fairness for everyone who has been following the rules. Thereby Jonathan is now disqualified from both the Referral Contest and Refer-A-Thon until the end of April. Everyone please know that the current TOS still stands and any violators will be disqualified as well.

We appreciate the majority of you who have diligently followed our rules and brought this to our attention. Please voice any further concerns or comments you have regarding this matter here. Good luck to the rest of you in the contests!

So this probably means they will make the TOS less strict or more strict.
(In other words, they will either make the TOS less specific about shady referral tactics, basically allowing it, or they will make it more specific about it, or not allowing it at all) Though i can't tell from what ally said.

Haha just kidding, chances are the TOS will be less strict.....but don't hold me to that.

Lol, I'm not rejoicing a thing until the contest is over. I dunno if my refs will slow down or something. Meh, at least no matter what, I'm guaranteed at least $100 :thumbs. Buuuut, I am happy I am in 1st place. I went from a noob who knew nothing about referrals (when I first joined) to coming in the top 3 in a ref contest. Woot.

Just so that you guys know. The referral standings are always reset every month as the "refer a thon" is run every month

This current one we are running is obviously different as we've included it into the larger contest

Eventually the standings will even itself out again and you guys can fight for first again
