I realize this may not be possible, but is there a way I can have my phone number removed from advertisers? I'm getting an abhorrent number of calls every day and it's extremely irritating to myself and my family. I was under the impression that they would contact (read: spam) me by email (which they of course did), and that phone would not be used without my explicit consent. I've been on the site since November, but only just started getting these recently.

Usually advertisers stop after 3 or so weeks after their first phone call. If not, then you can pick up the phone and ask them to stop. By law, they must stop calling your house number or else they can be sued. You can also try to get a privatephone online, I know there are some free ones out there. You just have to look.

Every time they call you ask them to put you on the do not call list.

i tell them have a nice day and not interested they never call back. be nice to them and they will grant your wish to not call anymore:smile
