Making paypal part of the rewards would be a great idea.
Lets say you have 100 points and would like to redeem them from paypal cash.
Since one R1 point = $1 USD why not give the ability to transfer/turn your points into paypal money.
To be able to turn 100points to $100 USD paypal.
I'm pretty sure R1 probably gets discounts on other stuff so they might not like this idea much, but why not tax the points?
Lets say you have 100 points you can get $90usd paypal for them, and R1 gets to tax 10 points. Lets say you have 10 points, you can get $9usd paypal for them.
That way R1 gets something more out of it.
Can also add a minimum points required per paypal transfer, so people build up to actualy get it. 100points(%10tax), 200points(%5tax), 500points(%3tax) [Or full 100points for $100usd-PP if R1 decides they <3 us... they do it for Amazon anyway(but amazon probably gives them like ref points or something so they might like the tax idea)].
Tax Rate Idea:
$1-150 get %10tax
$151-250 get %5tax
$251-500 get %3tax
Tax Rate in Prize lots:
$100 = %10tax - R1 gets $10
$200 = %5tax - R1 gets $15
$500 = %4tax - R1 gets $20
Not to mention this could be done instantly if a system gets setup for it.
And also not to mention this will bring R1's popularity up bigtime.
