View Full Version : Question about the referral system.
Do I get credited for ALL points my referrals get, or just the points they get from completing offers and not points they get from their own referrals?

No, you get 20% of your referral's points earned from surveys, you do not get credit for your referral's referrals.

From completing offers. And only 20%.

Thanks. That stinks though.

Not really. It can add up, as it has for a LOT of users. Myself not included. :(
And if you got full points, that would turn off future newcomers, don't you think? Heh.

I have made 19.70 points off referrals, I think this is pretty good as I have to do 0 work and get money for it.

Exactly. It's a great system and it should stay as is.
Do you guys even understand what I said?

I'm assuming they didn't. But yes, it does suck that you don't get points from your referral's referrals. To do that though, the offer payout would have to be much lower. The way it is now is better for people who can't get referrals.

I did understand what you said. I disagreed with your opinion that it stinks.
It's a great way to earn points, as many can testify to.
And although I would like to get full points, and that may seem more ideal on paper, as I said, don't you think that might turn off some from joining if they knew you were going to recieve equal points.
The only referrals who would actually USE your name would be friends, really.

Okay, first of all, it doesn't seem like you know what I'm saying. I'm saying that it stinks that we don't get our referral's referral points, I didn't say that the system stinks in general.
Secondly, what the heck are you talking about? How would referrals know how much I'd get from them until they sign up? And why would they care if they're helping me out a bit more? I provide them with the info and step-by-step guide with tips, I see know reason why someone would not want to repay me by signing up under my link.

Referrals Referrals are good, but the referral system we have currently is good enough for me.

NFK, I know that. I know what you suggested, and I know you weren't referring to the system in general. But I referred to your statement and I tied it into the general system for my own statements.
Either way, it doesn't matter. The point is, we should appreciate the 20% referral system for what it is and although full points may seem like a good idea, ultimately, it's not.

You see, your posts would make sense if that was what my topic was about.

i love the system i've got 70.65 points from referrals alone and to add to that my referrals won the december contest for me so they got me another 50 points which totals to 120.65 points i've got from almost no work

NFK, I'm done going on about this. I apologize if I somewhat strayed away off from what you were saying and I may have miscommunicated my words and intent, but truly I was trying to keep in line with your original post's statement.
Congrats, TRG! That's quite a feat.
