I didn't want to get my phone spammed and screwed (finacially) so I originally avoided cell phone offers. But I found this tracfone in the parking lot at the movies.

The screen was cracked and half of the number pad had been run over
But i took 2 hours out of my time to fix the piece of junk. until it could recieve text messages.

it had 5 dollars of credit left on it enough to recieve 17 texts messages.

So i did a few cellphone offers. And got like 10 points off it so far.

The T.O.S is empty reguarding anything about cellphone offers.

So use a "Tracfone" or any prepaid phone service....It widens the free catagory

And they credit the smoothest.

Just a heads up to all the rewards1 fiendz out there.

Free tracfones are prepaid so they don't send bills.

You use a card like wii point. You never get a bill you buy a card and scratch off the code to get the points.

for 20 bucks you can buy the phone with 10 units on it already.

.3 units = 1 Text message

So you get
30 text messages free

And they only ask for is your number you type it in and they give you a confirimation pin number you put it in the blank hit submit and you credit .

It may seem "free" right now, but those companies are going to charge you a monthly fee to your cell phone bill... most which are a good $6.00/a month. Just check out the small print at the bottom of those pages, and it says that so if you haven't canceled them already, you need to. I believe the cell phone company that runs your tracfone will just take credits off your account when it is billed pushing you into negative credits and then you still pay the monthly fee essentially.

i was thinking about doing this myself. i have a tracphone and i get free incoming texts. i don't think they will take credits off.

first of all, a tracfone is a "pay as you go" phone. you have to go to a store and purchace a minutes card, then punch in the numbers into the phone. when those minutes are used up, then you cant use the phone until you get more minutes. BTW, when it comes to tracfones, on average, it is about 50 cents to send/receive txt messages, depending on the phone.

2nd of all, what brand of tracfone? I have one and I tried the cell phone offers (2 of em) but the phone said that the carrier disabled "advanced messaging"?

Just a regular one. It worked on mine. when you register the phone you need to chose the option that lets you use a previous number.

So if you had a sprint cell but cancelled it. You could use that same number if it's unused so it works.

So when you enter your number in the cell phone ads the data recoginizes it as sprint. They can only tell carriers by numbers.

an to the guy above With tracfones you don't get bills.
