I just made an animation and saved it as a .GIF file. But I uploaded it to tinypic and when I view it, it's a still picture and it's not doing the animation. What did I do wrong?

Is the thing working correctly when you open it up on your own computer? Like when you open it in your documents?

I'll have to try that. When I play it in PS it works fine.

Okay I opened it up and it was a still picture. The only time it works is when I play it in PS. How do I save it? I've never done .GIF's before. I'm just doing what I usually do except saving it as a gif file.

Did you do File>Save for Web devices? or something like that with web in it. That's how you save animations.

the best way to check if your gif works is to (if you have it saved on your computer which you must have) drag it into a webbrowser

aka open it in a web browser

aka:
- open firefox
- shrink down the window (if needed)
- open the folder containing the gif
- drag the file into the web browser
- and it should play if its valid

Umm.. Mine stay animated.

Your in Photoshop right, if you are then do this:

File > Save Optimized As

Then it will save as a html document with an index blah blah blah. Then you go to the images folder where you just saved your html thing, then your .gif should be there.

It's hard to explain.
