when i look through the forums, i see a lot of "Plus rep for you!" what does that do? and what does it mean?

Reputation is used for those who help around in the forums. They also need Rep to become an Elite which is what everybody is working for. You need +125 Rep to become an Elite. You start out with 10 Rep. So, work your way up from there. Unfortanately, you can't give Rep to us because you're still a Junior Member.

There are a couple of things that I know about being an Elite.
-Animated Avatar
-Pictures in your Sig
-Hold up to 100 PMs (Inbox & Outbox)
-Different colored name.
-More trustworthy than others (because of scamming)
-That's all I remember.

You could always give rep, it just doesn't do anything. Only when your a Senior Member does it count. There is Green Rep (good), blue rep (neutral), and red rep (bad).

When your a senior member you give green rep, but when your a junior or newbie you give neutral rep.

You see how the bottom two are blue, and top three are green. The bottom two are from people who have less than 100 posts, the top three are from people with 100+ posts.

Hopes this clears anything up for you.
