When I am on the last page such as the platinum offer or silver/gold offers how long do I have to wait in order to know that they are confirmed to points.

Usually around 5 minutes, sometimes it credits while you are waiting so check to see if it has credited.

i usually just wait for the page to be done loading and i exit out of it. I almost always get the points that way but you can leave it open for a few minutes just to be safe.
