No more minimum shipping costs! (sort of)

Hey guys we're introducing a new feature to Rewards1 - no more minimum shipping costs from Amazon!

Many of you may know, we order the majority of our prizes from Amazon.com, which has a free shipping minimum of $25, otherwise you will get charge $4-5'ish. Up until now, we've had to pass that charge on to you guys - but not anymore! From now on, any prize ordered from Amazon.com that qualifies for Amazon Prime (their free shipping program) will be shipped for FREE!

And the good news gets better. Free shipping (on orders over $25) used to take 5-9 days. Shipping of products from Amazon will now take 2 days. :D

Those of you with prizes in the request queue don't worry, your request will be adjusted and points refunded where applicable. The prize claim system should reflect this new policy shortly as well.

And for those of you who "advertise" our site around for referrals, this is another great feature you can let everyone know about - free 2 day prize shipping at Rewards1.

For clarity - Free shipping (Amazon Prime) is only available for products sold directly by Amazon.com, NOT marketplace items sold by Amazon merchants (because Amazon doesn't ship it).

Nope, everything is auto-magic :wink2

Just like if a prize is cheaper, they will adjust your points and refund where applicable. You should get an explanation of any points adjustment in your prize confirmation email.

HockeyHero is correct, unfortunately at this time Amazon Prime (free shipping) is only available for:

1. Amazon.com - ie. US members (sorry Canada & UK!)
2. Merchandise sold directly by Amazon.com that qualifies for Amazon Prime. eg. Stuff sold by 3rd party merchants through Marketplace do not qualify because Amazon doesn't ship it. And things too heavy like pianos also do not qualify.
