I recently recieved a federal warning about the use of false information. Since it is such a widely occuring activity, they allow so many points (offenses).

I do believe the number of offenses is two because you should learn from your mistakes. If I'm correct, I do believe I received my warning from using false CC info on a train website to get a guide.

As much as I advise you to get refs and use people's guides, do it at your own risk. Maybe we should actually use our own money. Train refs and great and all, but technically you are scamming the sites on train ref websites.

Not that I care about those sites, but business is business and its like the golden rule, "Treat people how you want to be Treated." Well, if you were paying to advertise your site and get people to buy stuff I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to be scammed.

In short, I recommend not using false info at all on these train websites, because it is a federal offense and obviously is watched. Thank you, if you have read all of this. I just wanted to inform everybody of the problems of False Identities and to watch your back. Have a fantabulous day! :thumbs

Well, congrats on that. But not all are that way. I was mainly talking to those that are becoming referrals on those sites, so they can recieve guides, etc... You know, all of those "go green" threads.

Hmm, interesting. Did they call you? Email you? How did you receive the warning? Please indulge, it makes me nervous reading your post.
