I dug through all 7 pages of this form to gather some basic info and links to help everybody here on completing surveys. First are some links to common troublesome offers and how to work them.
A General Guide to offers (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=4210)
A Rather extensive list of offers and what they require (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=10843)
UkPrizeDraw (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=10968)
BigBrandGiveAway Tip 1 (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=11328)
BigBrandGiveAway Tip 2 (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=1633)
ArcaMax (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=10886)
Nielsen Net Ratings (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=5180)
Cell Phone Offers (http://forums.rewards1.com/showthread.php?t=2000)
Now for some general tips of my own findings.....
1: Use firefox and be sure that it is set to allow cookies from sites. To do this you click on "Tools", then "Options". When the options box opens up, click on the "Privacy" tab. Make sure that "Accept cookies from sites" is checked, and that you keep them until they expire. Also, The reason why I say use firefox is because I did a comparison test between firefox and I.E.. On one offer, it would NOT credit with I.E., but the same offer with firefox FILLED OUT THE EXACT SAME WAY credited.
2: Make sure that nothing could be blocking your cookies. These include your firewall, anti-virus, anti-spam software, spyware software, ect. TURN ALL OF THESE OFF. Again, in my own tests, more offers would credit with these turned off then with them on.
2: use CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/). It is free and it works. NOTE: In order for it to work properly, you need to completely close out your browser before running it to make sure not only the cookies are deleted after you complete an offer, but its cache also. Yes, this DOES make a difference if an offer will complete or not (or if you will even be allowed to do a different offer by the same company).
3: Use CCleaner on a regular bases. If you are filling out different offers in a row (bigbrandsurvey, then net ratings, then a completely different one), then you can use ccleaner after you complete that run. If you are attempting to do a run of offers that are from the same company (3 bigbrandsurvey at once), then complete one survey, wait about 5 mins (and I MEAN 5 FULL MINUTES) at least so you know you will get credited. I normally wait until I get credited (which takes anywhere from 2 to 5 mins on average). Once you do, close out your browser, run CCleaner, then continue where you left off.
4: Use Mailinator (http://mailinator.com/). Here is the trick to it though. First find one that nobody has used yet (stupid things work best "piefeelsgoodinmytummy@mailinator.com"). Once you found one, use that email in the survey. when you are done with the survey, check this email at mailinator.com and make sure that a confermation email was not sent. if there was one, go ahead and respond to it, it cant hurt anything.
Finally, if you find any other usefull tips for certian offers to aid in getting them to credit, or any general information, post the link here. Lets try to keep all of this information in one place, not scattered all over 7 or more pages, nor to have a bunch of stickies!
